Taif – Turubah/Ranyah/AiKhurmah Water Transmission System EPC Contractor SSEM

• The scope of the T-TRK WTS is to transport potable water produced at Shoaiba Desalination Plant located in the middle east from the new Strategic Reservoir at Taif up to Abu Raka and further on to Baha. Furthermore, several villages along the route are supplied. In emergency cases the water source can be Rabigh Plant instead of Shoaiba Plant.
• Water Transmission System PS A1 has a design capacity split into a 3-phase installation. Phase 1 108,669 m3/day, Phase 2 136,285 m3/day and Phase 3 156,284 m3/day.
• TSSE are completing design and supply of the main plant Cooling Water System working with SSEM as the main EPC Contractor.
• Cooling water system design flow rate of 187m3/hr to provide cooling water to main pump sets rated at 2.8 Mw together with Lube Oil System, Fan Filter units and Water-cooled Chillers for Variable Speed Drives associated with the main pump units.
