Why Work in Hydraulics?
27 February 2020 by Mike Retford
Why do we work in the hydraulics industry? From my experience I started in the Steel Industry after completing University. The types of applications I experienced, in the Rolling Mill, were numerous and technically very interesting. Hydraulic engineering requires a mix of understanding between mechnical and electrical engineering; using both to manufacture and control hydraulic systems.
Working in the hydraulic systems business we have worked on applications from Theme Parks to Ship Deck Machinery, with each project having its own technical challenges and interests. At Torishima Fluid Power we have built a team who have interest in the technology and the challenges it provides. Each of our systems is specific to customer requirements and is built with the attention to detail and quality that our customers demand.
We are Hydraulic Engineers and proudly represent our industry.
