Helping Customers

When the business was started in 2007, as MGR Fluid Power, the aim was to help customers overcome problems with their hydraulic systems. This ranged from new systems that had design problems or needed commissioing, to an old system that needed troubleshooting and modifying.
Our basic principle of the business still remains, but getting to customer premises in the current climate has proved difficult. Last week we were pleased to help a customer that had a problem with their hydraulic power unit losing pressure. The customer had a schematic for the power unit, which was useful and allowed us to formulate a fault finding plan. Using video technology we were able to explain our plan to the customer and talk them through the steps they should take. The customer found the problem using our plan and we were able to identify the spare hydraulic parts, a new 4/2 way directional valve, needed to effect the repair.
Helping customers these past few weeks is not impossible, we have had to adapt to use the technology available. Our experience is the one thing that remains
